The well-selected synthetic quartz crystals enable high grade optics applied products,

which use crystal optical property (birefringence), are implemented in optical devices such as lithography and microscope.

Since Murata started a quartz plant in 1977, high grade cultured synthetic quartz crystal is produced under the strict quality control system and used for quartz crystal products such as Crystal units, Crystal filters, SAW devices, and others.
